I am a self-taught artist, who was born in Central Persia in 1974. My father has been my mentor throughout my life. He never had any education in art but he always had artistic values. I grow up in a farm where the mountains and nature had great influence in creating my desire for learning and being creative. I always loved to draw. Born in a country where everything in life was raw and genuine gave me the chance to feel and touch everything in life deeper and more thoughtful. All had great impact in my art and how I feel about it.
I left Iran in 2002 and moved to England which also broadened my artistic abilities by understanding Western culture. I had the opportunity to visit different galleries in London and became familiar with English culture. Visiting old monuments and historic buildings all made me more curious to understand the intricate details and generated my enthusiasm for realism in my paintings.
I always have been passionate to pass on the feeling of the moment that I capture in my subject and transfer that to any art lover’s experience: to bring peace, beauty and tranquility.
After about two years in London, I moved to Dubai, which again was a totally different culture and environment. All these factors have an impact on people and their taste of art. I had the chance not only to witness that but to live and understand it. Out to my inquisitive nature I got drawn to Middle Eastern art. It was a period which touched my heart by showing more raw and basic roots of culture and nature.
I had the opportunities to paint sunsets in beautiful calm deserts with golden sands. It inspired me to learn to paint animals such as camels and local birds. I also became so passionate for desert people with sun burns on their skins and a tough life. All touched my heart. Then life took me to Canada. I lived two years in Vancouver. Once again the stunning nature in Vancouver was so fascinating. The ocean view and cold rainy days all made me wonder how I can capture the moments in nature and create people’s feelings just by watching those special moments.
I finally I moved to the United States where I feel at home and settled- where I am bringing back and combining tougher life experiences to exhibit my deepest emotions and feelings from my heart.
Being able to illustrate the beauty and splendor of all God’s creations including human ethnicities, nature and animals is my ultimate passion.
