Nancy DeMore is a contemporary artist based in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Following a career as a breast cancer surgeon, she pursued her lifelong passion for art,
bringing to her work a deeply personal understanding of resilience, hope, and the
preciousness of life. She has studied with Silvia Belviso and Drew Blair at the Blair
Center for the Arts and is a graduate of the Milan Art Institute Mastery Program.
Working in contemporary abstract realism, Nancy explores the tension between fragility
and strength and the quiet resilience that emerges when life demands courage. Her
work seeks to transform spaces of uncertainty into places of hope, inviting viewers to
discover beauty and possibility even in moments of vulnerability.
Each painting is a conversation rather than a conclusion. Nancy invites the viewer to
pause, feel, and consider: What does it mean to fight for joy? What happens when
we choose to seize the moment rather than wait? Through color, movement, and
emotion, her paintings celebrate the possibility of beauty breaking through and the
courage to embrace life fully.
Art That Dares to Dream.
